This week is National Apprenticeship Week!
Did you know that we are currently working with HETA to find our ninth apprentice in ten years? The new recruit will start with us later in the year.
Of the previous eight apprentices, seven are still working at GIC in various roles from mechanical and electrical fitting sections to service engineers.
Why do we invest in apprentices? Because it is vital that our senior engineers pass on their knowledge and skills to the next generation, who in time, represent GIC’s future.
